Peter Gerard Reproductions Ltd
Our client needed more room upstairs together with a fresh new-look glazed extension down stairs. After removing the old extension and creating new foundations, slab and external walls, we got to work on the first floor extension enlarging the bedrooms to the rear of the property with structural steel works holding up the new first floor extension and a new gable-end roof. Once complete we installed the new PVC frame work for the downstairs glazed extension in the stunning anthracite grey and solar control glass. With new 6-pane Bi-folding doors to the front section, our client can now open up virtually the full width of their garden room to the outdoors.
This 2-bed semi-detached house on a generous corner plot was in desperate need of a total re-furbishment. After adding a 2-storey extension to the side to create 2 further bedrooms & an ensuite upstairs and a family room, utility and cloakroom downstairs, together with a single storey extension to the rear to create a large kitchen-dining area with bi-folding doors opening out into the garden. The house has been transformed inside and out into a modern, spacious family home. The rendered walls to the external bring the old and the new together beautifully and the complete re-roof helps to achieve a seamless finish. Inside, structural steelworks have allowed for an open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen area and a few more of the internal walls have been moved so that the house now flows as it should.
