Based in Newport, South Wales, Ullyses Building & Maintenance Contractors Ltd specialise in residential and commercial building as well as maintenance work and insurance repair work for domestic properties. Ullyses was formed in 2002 by managing director Howard Sully, and has been a family run business since it was founded. In this time we have worked hard to develop our reputation for meeting customer expectations, through delivering quality workmanship. We work in Newport, Cardiff and the South Wales area.

The company began with small construction projects such as domestic extensions, decorating and repairs. We have since grown to have our own team of directly employed, time-served tradesmen who are highly skilled and cover the key building trades including bricklaying, carpentry, plumbing, tiling and stonework. Our own team is supplemented when required by our trusted subcontractors, who we can rely on to deliver work that is up to our high standard.

Ullyses are a professional company, and a major part of this is retaining good relations with the local building inspectors. We regularly work with architects and structural engineers and you can be assured that out work is carried out to the required standards and meets all necessary Building Regulations.

Ullyses has also completed a range of projects on churches and listed buildings, so we understand the complex needs of conservation building work.

We offer: Residential new build, extensions and conversions, residential interior building and renovation, commercial building and maintenance, insurance repair services.
