Beautifully designed to incorporate a feature internal oak frame in the upstairs living area, with angled windows to frame every stunning angle of the incredible views from every room. Our clients allowed us to create some beautiful bespoke items to create this truly one of a kind property including a feature floating oak staircase, interior and exterior oak joinery components and a custom window floor in the main lounge.

SCOPE OF WORK: This beautiful hidden Manor House incorporated a two story extension, doubling the initial size of the original Manor House. The works included a bespoke Cigar Room, Custom built oak kitchen including a traditional aga, Informal raised lounge, bedrooms with custom built-in oak wardrobes and slade tiled bathrooms, bathroom with a copper bath and a glazed link between the new and old. The owner’s incorporated a new dog spa and several bespoke touches to ensure their beloved pets felt at home. Exterior works involved extensive landscaping to include a new boat deck on the lake, water fountain, hot tub and a new front drive and gates.

SCOPE OF WORKS:The house was built using locally sourced Chert stone and Bath stone, with dressed stone window and door surrounds, quoins and parapet copings - all finished to the highest standard. Composite timber/powder-coated aluminium windows were used and painted timber doors.
Dual pitched timber trussed roof(s) with natural slate finish. The farms derelict outbuildings were also restored to create usable stores and cottages. Extensive landscaping to create the driveway and parking areas, as well as natural stone landscaping for garden walls and landscaping. Below is a selection of before and after photos of the outbuildings. Our Joinery Shop also created a number of beautiful Oak Feature items in this project - gates and doors to compliment the build.

SCOPE OF WORK: Two storey thatched stone built infill extension between perpendicular wings to provide large open plan kitchen-diner around double sided feature fireplace, large bedroom and en-suite facilities with exposed aged oak feature truss. Conversion of garage wing to guest accommodation with new bespoke oak windows & shutters, conversion of redundant livestock barns to oak framed, open plan day room with bespoke glazed central roof lantern. Extensive re-ordering of main house to create underfloor heated reclaimed blue lias flagstone entrance lobby with decorative oak staircase, beneath a substantial new picture window in cut stone surrounds. Re-roofing of thatched main house, slated wings and tiled garage barn following extensive structural timber repairs and treatment retaining historic elm trusses.
