Wightman Build have done several jobs for us over the last 13 months and they were all to a high standard The team of staff were all very friendly but got on with their individual tasks in a productive manner. We required some late amendments to our instructions and these were accommodated without any problems. All jobs were completed within our timescales and we would have no problem recommending them to others - Jay and Anne Ivory

We are delighted with our new kitchen extension which has transformed our living/dining area. Gary & his team were efficient, hard working and kept us informed of developments right through the process. The attention to detail, including sourcing the right materials for our requirements, gave us exactly what we were looking for. - LindaM

In 2017 we embarked on a project to build a Wedding Venue here on our farm. In order to get this project and business of the ground we needed to put a lot of detail into the planning of the project before we even broke ground which involved a lot of commitment from the Wightman team. From breaking ground to the last dab of paint their commitment to the project was never ending. The venue was constructed from Oak and although Wightman Build didn't provide this, they were heavily involved in its build and worked very well with the other trades on site. Throughout the project there were various challenges and the team provided quick solutions, some we had never even considered. The whole team were very friendIy and aprochable throughout, any ideas or changes we had were fully discussed and developed with the team on site regularly which helped no end and enabled us to deliver the project on time and budget. I would highly recommend Wightman Build Ltd. - Ben Harris - Sissons Barn, Peakirk, Peterborough

Boy do they know their stuff – as well as being fully skilled at their work the entire Wightman team went to great pains to adapt to the changing demands of the job with creativity and good nature. The finished job is better than I had imagined. I would be happy to show anyone around my fabulous (new) house. - AO

Gary did not ask for a reference or review, and we don’t usually do them, but in view of the care taken with the job we felt it was deserved. Having had previous bad experiences with builders, this time it was different. We found they worked well as a team, they worked conscientiously and the quality of the work was consistently good. For example, the old ceiling was very uneven and, rather than do the patch repair that we asked for, Gary suggested re-doing the whole ceiling which entailed more work but made a much more satisfactory end result. Measurements proved to be very accurate which was very helpful when we came to fit the kitchen, and the contractors who fitted the granite worktops commented on the straightness of the walls, they remarked that they don’t usually see them as good as that on a new build. The stonework including the garden wall was done very neatly and we asked for an unusual, more complicated, roof design and they rose to the challenge and did an excellent job on every aspect. They worked carefully and tidily, keeping mess and equipment within a confined area and the job was finished in a very timely manner. - P.G
