The existing outbuilding was demolished and replaced with an extension to the kitchen and a tack room. The chimney and gable wall were rebuilt, and extensive structural steelwork was fitted to support the new roof and existing structure. Gable ends incorporated two circular windows and the roof was inlaid with two velux windows. Whilst carrying out the ground work, a well was discovered and was made into a feature within the floor. The internal high ceilings feature timber ceiling beams to enhance the character of the building.
