Tracy has been working for South and City College Birmingham helping and supporting Construction companies large and small for over 15 years. She has experience in supporting many construction organisations grow their businesses through a strong focus on skills, recruitment, training and grants.  Tracy leads on Electrification and Low Carbon programmes and is project managing the building of a Net Zero and a 1930's house which will be used to train employees and individuals on a range of Retrofit, Low Carbon and Electrification programmes.

I am the CITB Customer Engagement Adviser for Birmingham and Solihull working as part of the West Midlands Team. I have worked in education for 24 years and have supported many sectors with upskilling the workforce. The CITB Customer Engagement Adviser role provides support to construction employers and the industry by offering guidance on accessing grants and funding. They help navigate the process, provide information available options, and assist is developing strategies to effectively utilise the grants for upskilling and workforce development.  Supporting construction employers and industry by accessing grants and funding is crucial for upskilling and developing the workforce.  It ensures that the industry stays strong and that workers have the necessary skills to thrive.
