Jeremy Gray

Head of Policy and Public Affairs, Federation of Master Builders

Jeremy heads the policy and public affairs team at the Federation of Master Builders (FMB), the largest trade association in the construction industry. Prior to the FMB Jeremy was working as National Policy Manager at the British Standards Institution (BSI), the UK’s National Standards Body. In this role he worked on trade and regulatory policy, as well as issues surrounding the UK’s exit of the EU. Jeremy also worked in a policy and communications role for London's leading property trade association, London Property Alliance. In this role, his focus was on commercial real estate development policy, primarily in the City of London.

Deborah Madden

Engagement Director for CITB in England, Construction Industry Training Board (CITB)

Deb Madden is the Engagement Director for CITB in England, encouraging take up of products and services to support construction businesses of all sizes. Deb has worked with CITB for over 25 years, across all parts of the business and prior to working with CITB, she was a trainer and assessor in the business services sector.

Shenaaz Chenia

CEO, YouthBuild Ventures UK

Shenaaz Chenia began her career in finance and moved from the private sector to become the founding CEO of YouthBuild in the United Kingdom.

Shenaaz provides insight and expertise on the London Mayors, Skills for London Steering Group as well as the Construction Leadership Council (CLC)’s Skills Work stream, she is a member the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Apprenticeships as well as the Youth Employment Group.

Reaching across most sectors and forming deep meaningful partnerships with the sole aim of assisting youth into employment and into leadership roles, Shenaaz is adept at joining the dots to ensure that youth are given the best chances to succeed.

Nik Nelberg has worked in design and contracting in London's residential refurbishment and extension sector for over 25 years. Specialising in energy efficient home upgrades and client-led residential design & build, Nik has a passion for transforming London’s houses into homes for the future.
