During the weekend of 18 & 19 November, the Somerset Homebuilding & Renovating Show took place at the Bath and West Showground and I was delighted to attend alongside a number of our members. The show was a great success and provided a great opportunity for us to speak with hundreds of people and demonstrate the Find a Builder service as well as give them the opportunity to speak with Master Builders.

Master Builders Joe Cole (All Build Developments Ltd), Shaun Pennell (Marun Construction Ltd) and Mark Peggram (MRP Construction Ltd) supported the FMB’s presence over the two days and spoke with hundreds of homeowners to offer advice, answer questions, and provide guidance on a range of topics as part of the show’s Advice Centre. Joe also gave a presentation to a packed audience on choosing a building contractor and there were plenty of questions for him afterwards as well.
The FMB stand was next to the Advice Centre (where Joe, Shaun and Mark were based) and meant that we were able to speak with hundreds of homeowners across the weekend, showing them the Find A Builder service and talking about why the Master Builder badge is a sign of quality and brings peace of mind. With so many homeowners attending, all 3 of our members received enquiries over the weekend and I look forward to hearing more about these projects in the coming months.
