Having started with the FMB in early August, I’d like to introduce myself as your Hub Director for the South region. I’m absolutely delighted to have joined the FMB and I’m looking forward to working both with you and on your behalf as we look to meet the opportunities and challenges that our industry faces.

A foundation in the industry

Prior to joining the FMB, I’ve spent the last five years working for the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) where, amongst other things, I supported companies to achieve their training, development and accreditation goals. This has given me a great insight into the issues which our industry is experiencing (and may experience in the future) as well as the daily challenges that an SME builder can face.

I’ve also been fortunate enough to meet a number of FMB members during my time at the CIOB and the high standards that Master Builders demonstrate is something that I am looking forward to seeing even more of as I get to meet and speak with you over the coming weeks. It’s also been great to see a number of familiar names and faces on the Area Boards around the UK as well, many of whom were also CIOB members.

Building strong relationships

I’m a big believer in collaboration and partnerships and am keen to speak with key individuals, groups and stakeholders across the region so I can both reflect your priorities as a member and also share key updates (regional and national) with you. Please do let me know if you have any groups, networks or individuals in mind who it may be beneficial for me to meet.

Get in touch

I’m always keen to hear from you so please do get in touch if there’s anything you’d like to discuss; from successes to challenges or to simply share your experiences of our industry, my contact details are:

My aim is to support you and to champion the excellent work and high standards that you and our other Master Builders demonstrate and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together for the region and the FMB.
