The biennial Master Builder Awards celebrate high-quality craftsmanship, exceptional customer service and building excellence delivered by Master Builders across the UK. The awards help to recognise the significant contribution that small and medium-sized construction companies make to the UK construction industry.
From new residential homes to major commercial developments, Master Builders help to build a better future for the UK every year and the awards provide an opportunity for members to showcase their hard work.

If you would like to nominate a Master Builder for Tradesperson of the Year, or an apprentice for Apprentice of the Year, we encourage you to speak to the individual first. However, if you would like to submit a nomination as a surprise you may do so.
Nominations must be submitted online through the FMB website by Friday 29 January 2021.
Due to the volume of entries received, it is not possible to provide feedback on individual nominations.
The nominations are judged by independent judging panels at both a local and national level.
The first round of judging takes place at a local level to choose the category winners in each region and devolved nation. These winners are then shortlisted for the national awards, where an independent national judging panel will review the entries and select the winners.
Winners across the regions and devolved nations will be announced at virtual award ceremonies that will take place in May and June 2021. National winners will be announced at an event on 24 September 2021. Click here for more details on the award ceremonies.
