Who we are
The FMB is the largest trade association in the UK construction industry, representing the interests of small to medium-sized building companies.
From supporting Master Builders to make the most of their membership, to successfully influencing policy outcomes that support our members – the work we do helps to make a difference for small and medium-sized builders.
Our company culture is shaped by our four core values - Integrity, Commercial, Positive and Collaborative. Together, these values shape our engagement with members, our colleagues and industry representatives.
Our main offices are in London, Ely and Leeds.
A vacancy has arisen for a FMB member to sit on the prestigious Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Board.
The CSCS is the leading skills certification scheme within the UK construction industry. CSCS cards provide proof that individuals working on construction sites have the appropriate training and qualifications for the job they do on site. By ensuring the workforce is appropriately qualified the CSCS card plays a key role in improving standards and safety on UK construction sites.
The CSCS Board member will be expected to have demonstrable experience of skills and training in the construction sector.
