This award winning project in conjunction with Marsh & Grochowski Architects was to convert a simple council bungalow situated at the edge of Rutland Water into a luxury bungalow.

The project was in three stages extension of the building conversion of existing accommodation and lastly external work.

The beaten copper faced wall with a wave design and circular window reflect the navel background of the client.

Colwick Park Adventure Centre by the River Trent

Built for Nottinghamshire County Council this is a centre reliant on renewable energy.

There are no external services to the centre but it is equipped with all normal services found in a sport's centre.

The accommodation consists of two floors with a basement boathouse.

Renewable energy is provided by solar and voltaic cells on the mono-pitched roof a wind turbine and a wood burning stove for direct heat. Fresh filtered water is from a bore hole on site and waste is removed to a nearby septic tank.

The basement is designed to withstand regular flooding.
